Hi! I’m Eliza. I am a master’s student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I am earning my M.Ed. and physics teaching certification. As a part of my program, I teach AP Physics at a high school in Boston. I am originally from a small suburb near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and miss the Appalachian mountains every day! I also went to college in Pennsylvania at Bucknell University, where I majored in Education and minored in Physics and Race & Ethnicity Studies.
With two degrees in Education, I have a lot of experience in teaching, tutoring, and best practices. My academic background in STEM鈥搃ncluding coursework in classical and quantum mechanics, calculus, engineering, and research in chemistry, physics, and astronomy鈥揾as equipped me with a strong foundation in science. I am excited to be at 麻豆原创 and to continue to make meaningful relationships with students.
Outside of school, I can be found taking dance classes, hiking Massachusetts or Pennsylvania mountains, or exploring new coffee shops.
