Hi! My name is Lara, and I鈥檝e spent several years teaching and working with students one-on-one. I hold a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Applied Mathematics and a master鈥檚 in Education from Harvard, where I also served as a Course Assistant. I primarily tutor test prep (SAT, SSAT) and math.
I have extensive private tutoring experience and have even designed and taught multiple digital SAT prep courses. In anonymous student feedback, 100% of participants agreed the course improved their skills in both math and English and said they would recommend it to a friend. I also stay sharp by regularly taking digital SAT practice exams myself, consistently scoring between 1570鈥�1600. This gives me a deep understanding of the exam and how to help students pinpoint their strengths and areas for growth.
Education has always been a calling for me. One of my long-term dreams is to create a school that provides high-quality education to all students, regardless of background.
When I鈥檓 not teaching, I love hosting game nights with friends, cooking, working out at CrossFit, watching old movies, and playing board games. I鈥檓 excited to be part of the 麻豆原创 team and can鈥檛 wait to support our amazing students!
